These are the terms that apply when you buy something from Loaded Sponges (loadedsponges.co.uk). Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them.
1. About us
Loaded Sponges is a family-run business based in East Ardsley, Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You can contact us at hello@loadedsponges.co.uk.
2. Our products
Each Loaded Sponge is handmade by us in small batches and pre-loaded with our crystal-clear, SLS-free, vegan soap in a designer-inspired scent. Because every sponge is made by hand:
- Slight variations in shape, colour intensity and size are normal and part of the character of the product.
- The fragrance is inspired by popular perfumes and aftershaves. Loaded Sponges is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with the brands referenced in the fragrance descriptions.
3. Placing an order
When you complete the checkout on our website, you're making us an offer to buy our products. Your order is only accepted once we send you the order confirmation email from Stripe. If we can't fulfil your order for any reason we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are in £ GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Delivery is FREE on all UK orders.
- Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe. We don't see or store your card details.
- Prices on the website can change at any time, but the price you'll pay is the one shown at checkout when you placed your order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Most orders are dispatched within 2 working days and arrive 2-5 working days after dispatch via Evri. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page. If your order is delayed or doesn't arrive, contact us at hello@loadedsponges.co.uk within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
6. Returns, refunds and your right to cancel
You have rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Because our sponges are sealed personal-care items, certain returns are not available once a sponge is unsealed for hygiene reasons. 7. Care and use
Loaded Sponges are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop using the product if irritation develops. Keep out of reach of small children. Patch test on a small area of skin if you have sensitive skin or allergies.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or for any liability that can't be limited by law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for any loss arising from a product or order is limited to the total price you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example: loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or any holiday/trip impact).
9. Intellectual property
The Loaded Sponges name, logo, website content, photography and product names are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission.
10. Privacy
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the date you placed your order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
